About Renault Car Leasing

Designed for tourists, tax free Renault car leasing is a great option when you wish to drive and explore Europe. With Renault car Leasing you receive the exact brand new Renault you order, with the price you pay being inclusive of full insurance cover with no excess unlimited kilometres and all taxes. In fact when you compare the inclusions of a Renault with other driving products you will see that there are no hidden extras to pay.

Being a French programme Renault have over 18 collection and return points within France which allow delivery and collection at no additional cost. Should you wish to collect or return your Renault outside of France at any of Renaults 12 plus European locations you can do so for an additional charge.

Being a brand new car the minimum duration of a lease is 17 days. There is a French law that applies a considerably lower sales tax to vehicles which have been owned for a minimum of 17 days. The short-term lease program allows Renault to put many thousands of such vehicles on the market, thus lowering the effective cost of their vehicles compared to the competition, and hence increasing sales.

What's included in the price

All prices are quoted in Australian dollars and include:

• Full accident damage insurance covering 29 European countries with no excess to pay in the event of an accident.
• Theft Protection cover covering 29 European countries with no excess to pay in the event of theft of the vehicle.
• Free additional drivers
• Airport Collection Fees
• 24 hour Renault Euro drive Assistance
• A Full Factory Warranty
• Free delivery and return at any of Renault's 20 locations within France.

What's not included in the price:

Fuel. For safety reasons your Renault vehicle is supplied with a minimum amount of fuel. Fuel and oil thereafter is at your own expense.
Servicing. A vehicle service is required every 20,000 or 30,000 kilometres depending on the type of Renault leased. Very rarely do our clients drive 20,000 plus kilometres!
Collection / Return Fees for outside of France. If you decide to collect or return your Renault outside of France an additional fee applies which is prepaid before departure.
Tolls. Some European motorways do require tolls to be paid which is at your expense.

Who can Lease a Brand new Renault?

Customers who are over the age of 18 are eligible for a tax free vehicle with special temporary plates for a maximum of six months if they are: Tourists, who regardless of their nationality have their legal residence outside of the European Union. Are visiting the European union temporarily and are not staying more than 185 days in a 12 month period. Do not engage in any type of employment during their stay.

European citizens residing outside of the European union who fit the conditions of the above and who can obtain proof of their intention to return to their employment at the end of their stay in the European Union.

People on temporary assignment in the European union, such as professors and journalists can lease a brand new Renault under special conditions so please enquire with us for further details.

Insurance and assistance

Just like your local full comprehensive insurance policy you are covered for accident damage insurance and theft protection insurance with no additional excess to pay. Third party liability insurance is also included!

You are not covered for damaged or punctured tyres.

Please note that should your vehicle incur a mechanical breakdown, subject to the terms of the assistance programme a replacement vehicle will be arranged or accommodation on your behalf booked until your vehicle has been repaired.
In the event of a breakdown, accident, theft or loss of the vehicle Renault Assist is available 24 hours per day with English speaking operators ready to assist.

Where can I drive my Renault?

You may drive your brand new Renault into the following countries: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, The Netherlands (Holland), Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, St. Marino, Sweden, Switzerland, Vatican.

Rates and Reservations

All rates quoted are in Australian dollars.
As the car is leased and therefore registered under your name you are required to book your Renault a minimum of 6 weeks prior to the collection of your vehicle. A non refundable deposit of $350.00 is required at the time of reservation.

Renault Lease forms are forwarded to you upon confirmation of your vehicle and are required to be completed and returned along with a photocopy of your passport and drivers licence no less than 5 weeks prior to the collection of your vehicle.

Full payment is required no less than 6 weeks prior to departure date from Australia.
